Rollin' with My Homies!

The Realtors of Dakota Plains Realty hit the lanes for the Village’s Bowl for Kids’ Sake, supporting the incredible work of the Big Brothers Big Sisters program — and we had an absolute blast doing it!

Not only did we show up, we showed up in style… and took home Best Dressed for our "Rollin’ with My Homies" shirts. Fashion champions, bowling… well…enthusiastic amateurs. Speaking of bowling skills, let’s just say some of us crushed it, and some of us (hi, it’s me) apparently forgot how to bowl entirely. My score proved it. Loudly.

But the laughs, the teamwork, and the impact made it a perfect day. Proud to support such an important cause and even prouder of this crew.



First Quarter Market Update

The spring market is waking up, and the numbers are telling a clear story: steady growth, strong demand, and a market that’s moving—but not rushing.

What Stands Out:

  • Average sales price: $350,386 — up 7% Solid appreciation continues, showing buyers are still willing to compete for well‑priced homes.

  • Closed sales: 741 — up 2.8% Activity is climbing, signaling healthy buyer engagement as we head into peak season.

  • Average days on market: 108 — up 8 days Homes are taking slightly longer to sell, which often happens as inventory grows and buyers get more options.

  • Months of inventory: 3.87 Still shy of the 4–6 month “balanced market” zone—so sellers maintain a mild advantage, but buyers aren’t fighting the frenzy of past years.

  • New listings: 1,415 — up 4% More homes hitting the market = more choices for buyers and more competition for sellers.

  • Active listings: 2,683 — up 2% Inventory is trending upward, helping stabilize pricing and pace.

  • 96.1% of original list price received Pricing strategy matters—homes that hit the market correctly are still capturing strong offers.
